Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) As an Executive Assistant, you will provide support to the Ancillary and Individual CEO & Chief Administrative Officer, in addition to Employer & Individual's CFO, in a manner consistent with the highest levels of performance and professionalism. As an Executive Assistant, you will provide primary support the CEO for UnitedHealthcare's Ancillary & Individual business, in addition to one other executive, and will juggle both diverse responsibilities and traditional executive administrative support.
As a highly qualified Executive Administrative Assistant, you are someone who thrives in a dynamic and varied work environment with changing and competing priorities.
This position has a critical role of helping to organize and manage many executive activities across a Fortune 6, global organization.
Strong executive presence, organizational aptitude, and excellent verbal and written communication skills using multiple modalities are essential in this role. Team members can expect a challenging and fast-paced environment, and will be expected to be flexible in the tasks assigned to them. Core Responsibilities: - Anticipate needs and provide high-level, tailored support and creative solutions to executives. - Flawless execution of administrative activities, with high attention to detail, organization, and process. - Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner. - Manage executive's schedule in such a way that the executive is able to complete their obligations in an organized, efficient way. - Facilitate in-person and Web-Ex meetings by structuring agendas, takings notes, and organizing work streams.
Schedule and set-up resources and technology needed for meetings and events, e.g., conference rooms, catering, WebEx, tele-presence, etc. - Coordinate international and domestic travel. - Submit accurate expense reports in a timely manner. - Interact with individuals at all levels of the organization, supporting in an office management capacity Required Qualifications: - 8 or more years of administrative experience in support of senior executives - Experience supporting multiple executives within a fast-paced environment - Advanced proficiency within Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word - Experience arranging WebEx virtual meetings and teleconferences - Experience coordinating large meetings and conferences for senior leadership Critical skills: - Demonstrated interpersonal skills - Tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to respect confidential information - Comfortable with change - Adept at managing multiple priorities - Strong Emotional intelligence - High energy, positive outlook, remains calm in stressful, pressured situations; remains calm when problem solving Careers at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual.
